The New iPad Summary
"The New iPad" is the third generation Apple iPad launched in the UK on 16th March 2012.
The new iPad includes a stunning new 9.7 inch Retina Display which comprises of over 3.1 million pixels (2,048 by 1,536). This allows for a much sharper, brighter and noticeably crisper display and reduces the need to zoom in on text.
Performance is improved over the iPad 2 with a dual-core A5X processor with quad-core graphics capabilities which will allow much more powerful apps and games to be developed by third party developers. The rear camera has also been upgraded with 5 megapixel and autofocus specifications.
Depending on the model chosen, the new iPad also has 4G capabilities allowing for a ultra fast internet connection via your mobile provider which can be shared with others via a wi-fi hotspot. Anyone who has already used an iPhone will also be very familiar with the iPad operating system.
The New iPad comes in total of 12 different variations. Choose from Wi-Fi only connectivity or Wi-Fi with Cellular (additional subscription needed with a mobile provider). Memory sizes 16GB, 32GB or 64GB. Black or White colours. Measurements are H24.1 x W18.6 x D0.94cm.
The iPad 2 is still available to buy new at a much reduced cost.
