The iPad Mini Wi-Fi only range of tablets was launched in late October 2012.
Three different memory configurations are available 16GB (£269), 32GB (£349) or 64GB (£429). You also have the choice of two colours either shiny Black front with Slate coloured rear or shiny White front with Silver coloured rear. These combinations give a choice of 6 models in total.
The tablet has a 20.1cm (7.9 inches) diagonal display size, a thickness of 7.2mm (0.3 inches) and weighs 0.68lbs (0.3kg). The screen resolution is 1024 x 768 pixels and has an A5 dual core processor which is the same as that used in the iPad 2. The built in battery will provide up to 10 hours of usage on a Wi-Fi connection and the iPad Mini also sports a new Lightning connector. The 5 mega pixel rear camera allows 1080p HD video recording with face detection and image stabilisation.
A further 6 models are available which also includes Cellular connectivity which operates when a Wi-Fi signal isn't available (extra subscription required). These retail at an extra £100 per model.
